This Refund Policy describes the terms under which Jayda Inc. (“Jayda”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) processes refund requests for subscriptions to the Jayda platform at jayda.ai (the “Platform”). This policy is part of and subject to our Terms of Service available at jayda.ai/terms-of-service.
1. REFUND ELIGIBILITY BY PLAN
Refund eligibility depends on your subscription tier. All refund requests are evaluated based on the criteria below.
1.1 LITE Plan ($16.90/month)
You are eligible for a full refund of your current billing cycle if you have submitted no more than 3 AI queries since the start of that billing cycle. Refund requests exceeding this usage threshold are generally not eligible; however, exceptions may be considered at Jayda’s discretion for documented service issues (such as extended platform outages or persistent technical errors that prevented normal use).
1.2 DIY Plan ($29.90/month)
The same refund terms as the LITE plan apply. You are eligible for a full refund if you have submitted no more than 3 AI queries since the start of the current billing cycle. Exceptions for documented service issues may be considered at Jayda’s discretion.
1.3 BUSINESS Plan ($199/month)
Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of a charge. Approved refunds will be prorated based on the remaining time in your billing cycle, minus the value of any usage during the period. Usage value is calculated based on the proportion of AI queries used relative to your plan’s monthly allocation.
1.4 ENTERPRISE Plan (Custom Pricing)
Refund terms for ENTERPRISE subscriptions are governed by your separate written agreement with Jayda. Please refer to that agreement or contact your account manager for details.
2. SIX-MONTH BILLING CYCLE REFUNDS
If you are subscribed to a six-month billing plan:
LITE and DIY Plans: You are eligible for a full refund of the six-month payment if you have submitted no more than 3 AI queries since the start of the current billing cycle and the request is made within the first billing month. After the first month, approved refunds will be prorated for the remaining unused months.
BUSINESS Plans: Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of the six-month charge. Approved refunds will be prorated for the remaining unused months, minus the value of any usage during the period.
3. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund, contact our support team at [email protected]. Please include:
(a) Your account email address;
(b) The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for;
(c) The reason for your refund request.
Our support team will review your request and respond with a determination.
4. PROCESSING TIMELINE
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3 business days of confirmation by our support team. Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
Jayda processes payments through Stripe. Refund processing times may vary based on your bank or payment provider.
5. REFUND METHOD
All refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the charge. We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method, bank account, or as account credit unless required by applicable law.
6. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and you retain access to the Platform until that date.
Cancellation alone does not entitle you to a refund. Refund eligibility is determined by the criteria in Section 1 of this policy. If you wish to request a refund in addition to canceling, you must submit a separate refund request as described in Section 3.
7. REFUNDS UPON TERMINATION BY JAYDA
If Jayda terminates your account due to critical violations of our Terms of Service – including but not limited to redistribution of OEM content, fraudulent activity, automated scraping, or any activity that threatens the security or integrity of the Platform – no refund will be issued for the current billing cycle.
For all other terminations initiated by Jayda, you will receive a pro-rata refund of prepaid amounts for the unused portion of the current billing cycle.
8. PRICE CHANGES
We may adjust subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to you via email. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new pricing takes effect and receive a refund according to the terms of this policy.
9. DISPUTES
If you disagree with a refund determination, you may contact us at [email protected] to request a review. We will re-evaluate your request and provide a final determination within 10 business days.
If you are unable to resolve a refund dispute with us directly, the dispute resolution procedures in our Terms of Service (Section 17) apply.
