4. AI AND OEM DATA PROTECTION
Jayda takes your data protection seriously, especially regarding AI and OEM content. The following commitments apply:
No AI Training on Your Data: Neither your search queries, personal data, nor OEM data accessed through the Platform is used to train any AI or machine learning model.
Zero-Training Agreements: Our API providers operate under contractual agreements that prohibit the use of user data or OEM content in model training.
Individual Authentication: All user access is individually authenticated with auditable access logs.
Read-Only OEM Content: OEM content is delivered in read-only format. No raw data export of OEM content is available through the Platform.
Source Attribution: All OEM information displayed on the Platform includes source attribution where available, including the source document name, manufacturer, model year, and last update date.
5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
5.1 Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and core Platform functionality. These cookies cannot be disabled without impairing the Platform.
Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how users interact with the Platform and to improve search accuracy and user experience. You may opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings or by contacting [email protected].

6. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
6.1 We Do Not
Sell your personal information to any third party.
Use your data to train AI or machine learning models.
Share your search queries, vehicle data, or OEM-sourced content with advertising platforms. Advertising technologies collect only usage data and device information; they do not collect your search queries, vehicle data, or OEM-sourced content.
6.2 We May Share Information With
Payment Processors: We share billing information with our payment processor solely to process your subscription payments.
AI API Providers: Your search queries are processed by our AI API providers to return results. These providers operate under zero-training agreements that contractually prohibit the use of your data in model training.
MOTOR Information Systems and OEM Licensors: If we are investigating suspected unauthorized redistribution of OEM-sourced content (as described in our Terms of Service, Section 15.3), we may disclose account identifiers and details of the suspected violation to MOTOR Information Systems or OEM licensors as required under our data licensing agreements. We will not share your search history, vehicle data, or personal information beyond what is necessary for the investigation.
Law Enforcement and Legal Process: We may disclose your information when required by valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, or government request. Where legally permitted, we will notify you before making such a disclosure.
Successor Entities: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, provided the successor agrees to honor the commitments in this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any such transfer within 30 days.
Service Providers: We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating the Platform (such as hosting, email delivery, and customer support tools), subject to confidentiality obligations.

7. DATA RETENTION
Account Retention: Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists.
Account Deletion: Your account and associated data will be deleted only when: (a) you request deletion by contacting [email protected]; (b) deletion is required by applicable law or valid legal process; or (c) your account is terminated due to critical violations that threaten the security or integrity of the Platform (see our Terms of Service, Section 16). Before your account data is permanently deleted, you may request an export of your non-OEM account data (vehicle list, account information) within 60 days of your termination or deletion request by contacting [email protected]. We will send you a reminder email 14 days before the export deadline. After 60 days, your account data will be permanently deleted from our active systems.
Search Query Logs: Retained for 12 months for the purpose of improving search accuracy, then automatically deleted. Query logs used for improvement are not linked to your personal identity.
Access and Audit Logs: Retained for 24 months for security and compliance purposes.
Backup Systems: Residual copies of deleted data may remain in encrypted backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion from active systems, after which they are permanently purged.
Legal Holds: We may retain data beyond the periods stated above if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
8. DATA SECURITY
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
Individual user authentication with auditable access logs.
Requirement that BUSINESS and ENTERPRISE team accounts assign individual credentials to each authorized user — shared logins are prohibited.

Please note that you may not opt out of service-related communications (such as billing notifications, security alerts, and changes to our Terms) while maintaining an active account.
